The Rajasthan Academy of Physical Sciences (RAOPS) was established in 2002 as a body to function mainly in the field of education. It is a registered body.
RAOPS is a non profit scientific organization for promoting the cause of advanced study and research in the areas of Physical Sciences like Mathematics, Physics, Statistics etc.To achieve this, the Academy is publishing a quarterly International Research Journal, namely, Journal of Rajasthan Academy of Physical Sciences, since March 2002. This Journal publishes research articles of good standard after getting a positive report from learned referees.
RAOPS
has technically sponsored the “First, Second and Third
National Conference on Computational and Mathematical Sciences :
COMPUTATIA” held at Vivekanand Institute of
Technology, Jaipur, India on 28th to 29th
January, 2012, 30th November to 2nd
December, 2012 and 25th to 26th
November 2013. The
Academy has also technically sponsored the "National
Conference on Mathematical Techniques in Engineering Applications (META)"
held at
The Academy wishes to develop
a link between teachers and researchers in the field of physical
sciences spread all over the world. It also intends to honour eminent
scientists in different areas who have worked for the development of
Physical Sciences in general. The Academy aims to organize conferences,
seminars, lecture series etc. to have physical interaction between the
active researchers and also with eminent scholars in the field of
Physical Sciences.
